Aletra Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 28, 2026

Summary: Aletra does not collect, transmit or store any personal data. The app never connects to the internet. There are no accounts, servers, analytics, advertising or trackers. Everything you measure stays on your iPhone.

1. What data we collect

None. Aletra does not request, collect or transmit any personally identifiable information of any kind: no name, email address, phone number, device identifiers or geographic coordinates.

2. What the app stores, and where

Aletra reads your iPhone's sensors and keeps what it measures in the app's own private storage on the device:

None of this leaves your device. It is not sent to any server, not shared with third parties and not accessible to the developer. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it.

3. Internet connection

Aletra works entirely offline. The app makes no network requests of any kind.

Data leaves the device only when you export it yourself: when you generate a CSV or share a recording, iOS shows the system share sheet and you choose the destination. From that point on, that data is governed by the terms of the service or app you picked.

4. Permissions the app asks for, and why

You can revoke any of these in iOS Settings. The app keeps working, with the affected modules switched off and clearly labelled as such.

5. Third parties

Aletra integrates no advertising, analytics, social or tracking SDKs of any kind. No third party has access to any information.

6. Payments

Aletra is a paid app with a single, one-off payment. There are no subscriptions and no in-app purchases, so no financial information is processed or stored by the app.

7. Minors

Aletra is not intended for children under 13 and, as it collects no data at all, it cannot collect information from minors.

8. Deleting your data

You can delete events, sessions, recordings and surveys from inside the app. Uninstalling Aletra removes everything it stored on the device.

9. Your rights

Since no data is collected, there is nothing for us to provide, rectify or erase. What the app stores locally is deleted by uninstalling it.

10. Measurement disclaimer

Aletra is a logging tool, not a certified measuring instrument. Readings depend on the iPhone's own sensors and on ambient conditions. Do not rely on it for safety or health decisions, or to assess electrical or structural hazards.

11. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this same page with a new update date.
